HOW TO MEASURE FOR A CUSTOM CORSET

You will need to take your measurements wearing bra and panties, if you are getting an over the bust corset the bra that you wear can affect the final shape of the corset’s bust so keep that in mind.  If you are not going to wear a bra under your corset, take the bust measurement without a bra on. Also if somebody can take the measurements for you even better!

You will need the following to take the following measurements:

1). Bust (measure at the fullest part of the bust).

2). Under the bust.

3).Waist (usually 1” above belly button).

4). Hips.

5). Waist to hips.

6). Waist to under the bust.

7). Under the bust to fullest part of the bust.(Only for over the bust corsets).

8). Bust to over bust.(Only for over the bust corsets).

9). Front center. (Take this measurement while sitting down, measure from above the bust for the top seam of the corset to the center hip for the bottom seam of the corset, keep in mind you want to be comfortable wearing a corset while sitting down).

10). Center back. (Take this measurement from the over the bust line to the hips).

READY TO WEAR CORSET SIZE CHART GUIDE

To order a ready to wear corset, choose a finished garment with a waist measurement 5 to 10 inches smaller than your natural waist (depending on the level of compression you are looking for).

For above the bust ready to wear corset, measure your bust at the higher part of the bust; then measure your waist usually 1” above your belly button. Compare your measurement to the size chart.
